White Lake has a wide variety of ways for you to enjoy activities for the day, weekend and longer.

White Lake accommodations are surrounded by nature and each 'resort', 'lodge' or 'park' offers various forms of Waterfront Cottage Rentals, Seasonal Trailer sites and two offer a tent camping area. Several of them have a central building with a variety of useful services including groceries, snacks and camping supplies. They have boat launching and docking facilities, some rent boats, a sandy swimming area, and several have pools.

Resorts & RV Parks

There are well established and well run RV Parks on White Lake that offer services and lodging to make your visit enjoyable. All have exceptional owners with a passion to help you discover your slice of paradise at White Lake.

The largest also have excellent waterfront cottages for rent by the weekend, week and monthly.

If you have an RV or wish to rent a cottage you would be best advised to call ahead and BOOK Early, as many people love to come up and enjoy these establishments, and space is limited. Another option is to wait until the very last minute to call for availability to take advantage of any last minute cancellations. You will also be able to more accurately predict the weather for your visit., but then again, "it is always sunny and nice at White Lake".

Cottage rental fees do add up quickly, so if you like to escape to the lake with your friends and family as often as possible, an option to consider is to invest in a trailer or RV and either bring it with you, or purchase one for sale in the RV Parks already.

There's most likely a few RV's for sale in the park, so contact each RV park to inquire about what is available and arrange a time for viewing. Average prices range from $5,000 up to $30,000 and of course beyond. A few things to keep in mind is your budget, the age and condition of the trailer is, where it is located in the park, if it is allowed to stay after purchase, what your neighbours are like, and seasonal lot fees ($1,500 - $3,000 per year). For first-time owners, here are a few good RV tips & tricks. If you are looking for a new or used RV, here are a few places to look.

Please check out each RV Parks' detailed website for more information on the following very important criteria:

- Fees and atmosphere (social environment)
- Location on White Lake
- Driving Time/Distance from where you are coming from
- Seasonal (open summer or all year)
- Trailer and/or Tenting Sites
- Cottage & Trailer Rentals
- Restaurants & Bars on-site
- Store & Bait Shop on-site
- Marina & Boat Rentals
- Sandy Beach, Swimming Area, Pool
- Organized Events
- If pets are welcomed

Have had a cottage on the lake for some 20 years... can only access it by boat. Used the ice on and off dates to gauge when I might be able to access the cottage. I am sure a lot of others looked forward to seeing freeze/thaw dates.

Camping

Camping in a tent is fun! There are limited camp sites, so to camp right at White Lake, you will want to contact either Cedar Cove Resort or 3-Mile Bay Tent Park.

If you want to really have a "natural camping experience" in a Provincial Park, and then travel to White Lake to enjoy and explore, there are several 'close' camp sites, and the most established is:

Fitzroy Provincial Park

Majestic white pine covers much of this park beside the Ottawa River. There are two campgrounds within the park with comfort stations, a boat launch and park store.

The campground offers 235 treed and private campsites, 107 with electrical service and 205 with room for trailers. A separate area has facilities for group camping and picnicking.
